Erangle 3.0
The new erangle 3.0 got a completely fresh look to Some buildings in Yasanaya Polyana, Prison, and Gerogopol. Not just design of the buildings but also the architecture.
- Some 3 floor apartment buildings where shortened to just 2 floors.
- Some buildings got a new metallic look to it.
- New ways to ascend and descend with rope vertically in some buildings.
- An extra recall available only on erangle, if your die within the first 8 min of the match. In such case you will be sent to respawn battleground. where you will battle among other players to complete the mission and enter the match again.
Two ways to complete the mission: find an emergency respawn card and use it or get in the green zone, activate it without getting shot by enemies.
Shadow Forces mode.
This mode is available only on Erangle ,Sanhok & Livik.
The new mode has :
Shadow Blade :
Can be found in the new themed buildings. This powerful sword can inflict damage to enemies little beyond it’s physical reach with an aura like effect. It is capable of killing multiple enemies with one swing. This addition could change the way melee weapons are used. Before melee weapons were only good for trolling in Bgmi and Pubg. Now this blade can be used effectively in a close combat situation. Also capable of blocking enemy gun shots.
Proxy Scout :
You can make your own clone with this. Find a secure location for your character and throw the shadow scout throwable where you want your clone to appear. Now you can’t shoot your enemy but can scout exactly where the enemy team is camping. The skytether hook can also be used while being a proxy scout. So that you can scout faster.
The enemies can destroy your clone making you go back to your original body without dealing any damage. If the clone is destroyed near the enemy or manually detonated, this can inflict damage on the opponent.
Skytether Hook:
similar to the spiderman mode in previous update. You can latch on to buildings and land at targeted spots. Using this ability immediately again will invoke a gliding ability which surprisingly can travel a long distances than what you expect.
General updates and changes
- Bullet penetration: Bolt action sniper’s single shot can now penetrate through multiple enemies standing in the line of fire. A maximum of 3 enemies can be knocked with one shot. Damage of the bullet reduces as it passes through each enemy.
- Players can now apply energy consumables while driving. Med Kits and First aid kits can’t be used.
- Scooters have been added to Erangle, Miramar and Livik. Not sure why.
- Animation improved with basic Movements. The character is now more stable after performing actions that slows them while running. enabling faster movement. Actions like firing, aiming down sights, peeking, reloading and using consumables are affected.While climbing over the character can immediately respond to changes in direction.
- Increased speed and responsiveness of switching firearms, peeking and other actions to reduce lag.
